Places to Eat in London
Now where should one eat in London. I’ve included a bit of history in the following list. One can always easily find a trendy place to eat in London, but let’s focus a bit more on history. Rules Restaurant was established in 1798. Quo Vadis was opened in the 1920s and Criterion Restaurant became the place for politicians, royalty and heroes of literature to eat beginning in 1874.
Even if you take your children to one of these restaurants who may not like the food (which is doubtful), you can dazzle them with the history behind the following London restaurants:

“London’s Oldest Restaurant” is how Rules bills themselves. This restaurant is indeed historic. Rules was established by Thomas Rule in 1798 and serves only the best in traditional British food.

Criterion Restaurant

Criterion Restaurant is historic and elegant. The neo-Byzantine architecture befits the conversations the walls of this restaurant have heard over the years. Whether literature stalwarts, politicians or members of the Royal Family or showbiz royalty. This restaurant simply drips history and serves amazing food too.

This is only a sampling of places to eat when you vacation in London.
